The 16 x 8 m swimming pool has breathtaking views of the valley and the mountains that surround this beautiful site.

There is a huge sitting room with the original Bergerie fireplace, 10 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms and 4 kitchens and sleeps from 22-25. The house is great for large groups, allowing for people to spend time all together but also to retreat to their own space.

The house can be separated into apartments as detailed, Canigou - The Tower Apartment, Roc de Majorque, the Studio and Castelnou, the garden apartment. 

All rooms have air conditioning or heating.

Close to Perpignan, the property is 40 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea with large sandy family beaches at Argeles and Canet en Roussillon, St Cyprien and lots of other little coves along the coastline and the beautiful coastal town of Collioure.

Walking, mountain biking, canyoning, white water rafting and horseriding are amongst many activities nearby. And there are plenty of vineyards!

PLEASE NOTE: Cars required for access to the house. It is 20 minutes from the shops at Thuir and 10 minutes from Castelnou. The last 2km of the route to the house is along a gravel and stoney road so is not ideal for particularly low cars.

The Tower Apartment ‘Canigou’ with its feature tower room, gives 360 degree views encompassing Mount Canigou, the Alberes mountains and down to the sea; it is truly breathtaking.

A freestanding bath is the ultimate luxury from which to take all of this in!

The room below has kitchen and sitting room with sofa bed, bathroom and a terrace with some of the best views from the house.

The studio “Roc de Majorque’, named after the large hill opposite the village of Castelnou, has its own entrance, an open plan kitchen, sitting room with super king size bed and sofa bed (110cm). The separate bathroom has a large walk in shower.  

The super king bed can be separated into two singles. The sofa bed is suitable for children but you have the option to install an additional single bed for an adult if so desired (extra fee). 

This beautiful studio has a lovely outlook with its large private terrace overlooking the wild landscape all the way down to the sea.

The Garden Apartment, sleeps 9 + with 4 bedrooms.  

There are two 2 large double rooms (king size and super king size beds) with en-suite bathrooms, one with a large walk in shower and the other with a bath. These bedrooms each have french doors that open onto the garden. 

The room with the super king size bed can be split into two single beds. 

The other two bedrooms consist of a triple bedroom with 3 single beds and a bedroom with a double bed and a small double bed.  There is a separate bathroom and separate WC.

The large open plan kitchen and sitting room has french doors that open out onto the garden with an additional external table for outdoor dining and views of the stunning landscape.
